Early 2018 I was asked to join Riskified as the head of sales and was tasked with building a sales machine. Failing to find the “right” candidates, I had to come up with a better way to fill the ranks. Moving from a 2 people to an over 20 people team in a year is a staggering challenge. Where do I get the people from? How do we train them? what is the profile? how do we “make” AE’s? are some of the challenges I faced. The lecture covers the challenges and decisions we took throughout the year.
